Vinyl Signs in Marietta

Vinyls Signs Marietta

There are so many uses for vinyl today in the sign industry. In the past, vinyl signs were typically associated with banners announcing a new business or a local festival. Today the sign industry uses vinyl for many purposes.  At ASAP Signs, we specialize in creating stunning vinyl signs, wraps and banners for a multitude of purposes.

Vinyl Sign Printing

We offer a convenient printing process for our vinyl signs. When we print any high resolution image, the print quality looks amazing when blown up to your specifications. Our clients generally bring in their own artwork and little design is typically needed on our end to produce a sign to their expectations. There are occasions when more design work is needed than others, but in most cases, if the client provides a high quality image, we can make it happen.

Ordering Your Vinyl Sign

When it comes to vinyl signs, the ordering process begins with getting an idea of what the client is looking for on their sign, wrap or banner. We take into consideration the longevity of the sign, whether it is interior or exterior and how the sign/banner will be displayed. We can then determine the best material to use in each situation. We then put together a preliminary proof for review. If changes need to be made, then we make any necessary changes to the artwork. Once a decision has been made on the final artwork, we can then go to production.
Production on most small signs and banners generally take 3 – 5 days depending on the complexity or quantity involved with a project. The proof that the client approved is placed into our printer’s RIP program, rasterized and then printed onto our standard 2mil white, adhesive back calendared vinyl (for rigid signs and decals), 13oz scrim banner material (for banners) or wrap-grade, cast vinyl depending on the application. Once the printing is completed, we allow 24 hours for our solvent inks to cure. If the sign is going to be exterior, we then UV laminate the print (vinyl only for medium to long term outdoor use only). Banners do not require a laminate as they’re considered short to medium term use only. If the sign is an interior sign, we can generally skip the UV lamination process unless the client specifically asks for added protection on their sign. Once we go through the lamination process, we can then apply the vinyl to the selected substrate. Once the vinyl has been applied to the substrate the order is ready for pickup.
